Plants - after 4 weeks

We are really surprised at how quickly our tomato plant is growing. We now need to tie it to a stake to stop it from flopping over in the wind. Our beans are growing, but not as quickly as we expected. We are starting to see tiny little radishes forming under the ground.

Our bean plant in the dark cupboard has grown taller, but the stem is yellow and the leaves are yellow and very small. We think that this tells us that plants need light to grow well.

The bean seed with no water did not grow at all. We now know that plants need water to grow.
